PADEE Electric Power Distribution Network Analysis, Design and planning in low and medium voltage based on CAD-CAE-GIS
This Tool is for Designing, Planning, Operation, Maintenance and Loss Reduction in distribution networks feeders, it is mostly used by utilities and consultants who work in Electric Power Distribution Systems. It connects the medium voltage, Low voltage and Customers systems under integrated and common software.
This Software takes the electric data directly from distribution networks maps in Autocad and analyzes them (running a load flow analysis), placing the results directly on maps automatically and interactively.
El PROGRAMA DE ANÁLISIS DE REDES DE DISTRIBUCIÓN ( PADEE 2.0 ) es un sistema computarizado en ambiente ( Front - End ) de AUTOCAD y WINDOWS (XP y Vista), para realizar cálculos, análisis en las redes distribución de energía eléctrica.Power Distribution Networks Program (PADEE 2012) is a software with AUTOCAD Front – End, over Windows XP and Vista or WIN 7 to perform load flow calculations, analysis on electric distribution networks. También es un sistema de información como apoyo a la ejecución de obras y Oficinas de Ventas de energía. Utiliza tecnologías CAD - CAE ( Computer Aid Design ) - ( Computer Aid Engineering ) y GIS ( Geografic Information System ), para que todas las actividades se realicen, gráficamente, entorno a los planos de las redes eléctricas elaborados en AUTOCAD. It is also an information system to support works and Customer location and behavior. Use CAD - CAE (Computer Aid Design) – (Computer Aid Engineering) and GIS (Geographic Information System), technology so all activities are carried out graphically, inside the street and electric feeder map in AUTOCAD. La entrada de datos para realizar los cálculos se toma automáticamente de los planos y las salidas son en forma gráfica, con colores o señales gráficas que destacan los puntos más relevantes del análisis. - Programas de Análisis de la Red Primaria ( PARP ); Realiza los cálculos de caída de tensión. - Primary Network Analysis Programs (PNAP), it calculates voltage drop, pérdidas, niveles de cortocircuito y optimización de la compensación reactiva en las Redes de alta tensión.losses, short circuit levels and reactive compensation optimization on medium voltage feeders. Posee algoritmos inteligentes para armar la topología del circuito basándose en las convenciones gráficas o normativas del dibujo. - Programas de Análisis de la Red Secundaria ( PARS ); También realiza cálculos de caída de tensión, pérdidas y corrientes pero para las redes de distribución de baja tensión adicionalmente crea los archivos de sectores para la identificación de los suscriptores afectados por la interrupción del servicio de un transformador de distribución - Secondary Network Analysis Program (SNAP), it also makes calculations of voltage drop, losses and load flow but for low-voltage distribution network. - Programa de Suscriptores ( PS ); Permite realizar la conexión de los clientes o suscriptores a las estructuras del sistema eléctrico, permitiendo obtener los datos de la facturación ( energía vendida ) ubicada en cada punto de la red eléctrica. - Customers Program (CP), allows the connection of customers or subscribers to the structures of the electrical system, allowing obtaining the billing data (energy sold) located at each point in the grid. - Programa de Predicción de Demanda a Corto y Mediano Plazo; ( PPDCM ) Este módulo puede hacer la predicción de demanda por Cuadrículas, Subestaciones, Circuitos, o cualquier Zona Geográfica. - Demand Forecast for Short, Medium and long Term Program (DFP) This module helps demand forecast for the grid. Toma las cargas por áreas regulares o cuadrículas del plano, totalizando la demanda de los transformadores de distribución y produciendo los archivos con las cargas, requeridos en los análisis matemático del pronóstico de la demanda. Takes the load of regular areas, totalize the demand for distribution transformers of each regular area and produce an Excel file with the loads. - Programa de Protecciones; ( PP ) Este módulo es una herramienta para el dibujo de las curvas Log-Log de la Coordinación de Protecciones de Sobrecorriente. - Overcurrent Protection Coordination Program (OPP) This module is a tool to draw log-log curves for overcurrent protections coordination. - Programa de Elaboración Automatizada de Perfiles Topográficos y Localización; ( PPTL ) Su función es calcular y dibujar el perfil topográfico de las líneas de energía eléctrica, a partir de la libreta del tipógrafo. Además brinda todas las herramientas, tales como curvas catenarias, para la localización manual de estructuras soportes. - Automated Topographic profiles drawing and Pole Placing Program (ATPPP) Its function is to calculate and draw the topographic profile for power lines, it use the book's typesetter of the topographic survey and make the draw in autocad. It also offers all the tools, such as catenaries curves for manual placing of poles or supports structures.

- Programa de Cómputos de Obra y Valuación de Obra ( COMWIN ); Este sistema basado en uno sistema similar del mismo autor realizado para CADAFE y sus Filiales en 1985 y se encuentra modernizado en Visual Fox PRO para WINDOWS, ya nivel multiusuario operando bajo redes NT o Novel. El sistema permite realizar los presupuestos, análisis de precios unitarios, valuaciones de la obra eléctrica o también inventarios. – Budged Calculation Module (COMWIN) This system is based on a similar system made by the same author for CADAFE and its subsidiaries in 1985 and was upgraded for Windows and multi-user. The system helps budgets, analysis of unit prices, valuations of inventories of electrical works. Adicionalmente se han incorporado módulos de capacidad gráfica para la presentación de los esquemas de las unidades de construcción, así como la conexión con los planos digitales en AUTOCAD para el llenado y selección automática
Programa de Interrupciones y Operaciones ( PIO ); Este módulo realiza las trasferencias de carga y contiene las herramientas para cuantificar la carga interrumpida durante una operación o maniobra, puede identificar exactamente los suscriptores que se afectan ante una interrupción. - Interrupts and Operations Program (IOP): This module simulates the transfer of loads when there is a maneuver in the network. It has the tools to quantify the interrupted load during an operation or maneuver and can identify exactly which subscribers are affected by an interruption. El sistema almacena las interrupciones y puede proporcionar el Tiempo Total de Interrupción (TTI ) o el total de KWH interrumpidos. - Programa de Conexión con el SCADA ( PASCADA): Realiza la interfaz con el sistema SCADA para mostrar sobre los planos de la red las operaciones remotas, indicando los transformadores que quedan fuera de servicio. También puede producir un historial de las operaciones del equipo y los estados ( abierto o cerrado ) del mismo. - Connection with the SCADA Program (CSCP): Performs the interface with the SCADA system, it can display in Autocad maps the remote network operations, indicating recloser operation and out of service transformer bank. - Programa de Totalizadores ( PATOTE ): Ubica el total de energía asociado a un banco de transformación y produce una estimación del porcentaje de carga de los transformadores. - Transformers Bank Totalizer Program (TBTOTP): This module works with energy meters installed on every transformer banks. During the meter reading cycle transformers are include in the reading route as any other customer, then are separated filtering the customer’s database to produces an estimate load. Finally it calculates the Utilization Factor of each transformer. Es importante para la visualización y manejo de la información para la reducción de las pérdidas. The hardware requirement are rule by AutoCAD drawings size, not because PADEE Software. Normally computer with Autocad software than can handle maps easily, will handle the PADEE software without problems.

Se han realizados bastantes pruebas a fin de llevar el PADEE a los nuevos sistemas operativos de OPEN SOURCE, sin embargo, es conveniente esperar mayor desarrollo en las aplicaciones de interfase, que este tipo de software adquiera mayor fuerza y un grado de estandarización mayor a fin de que pueda aplicarse fácilmente en las empresas distribuidoras de Electricidad.There has been enough pass evidence to think that PADEE can be ported to newer operating systems based on Windows.
